Sadly that hasn’t made the transition to 2e yet (which seems to be the edition that the OP and their mate were talking about) - Vigilante has but it’s become a class-agnostic archetype rather than a full class. Not sure how they’d do Magical Child this time around except as it’s own distinct class-agnostic archetype.
