Ice fishing smitty sleds

In my decades of ice fishing, I can’t remember such crazy fluctuations in temperatures and ice conditions. It seems to be a bit reminiscent of last year’s season, and it makes me wonder if this could be a new normal. From a fishing perspective, you can use these conditions to find unpressured fish. One item to include is a “Smitty Sled.”

Going to be a jet sled on the Smitty Sled, want to figure out a good way to mount the auger outside of the jet sled. I've been looking over countless threads on the topic and have got a few good ideas. Might just make the Smitty Sled a bit wider than the Jet Sled and come up with some basic braket mount. My old man can stick weld it for me but I’m like maybe it time to get one that makes life easy and even make my welds look good. Add I don’t have to make the long drive just to get something welded.
