Comcast bridge mode

I have the Setting ( in windows ) set to obtain info autoomatically. on both the IPv4 and IPv6. I tryed cloning the MAC adress of the Netgear in to my router. that does not work. Just wondering if the Netgear firmware is blocking IPv4 when in bridge mode. I would think the comcast just updated the firmware to get IPv6.
